“For a month now after returning from Morocco, I wake up with memories of this wonderful villa where we celebrated our friends’ 10th wedding anniversary. It was the best start to the summer of my life. With a large group of friends of 16 people, we became part of a fairytale of the modern world called Dar El Sadaka.
The backdrop of our elegant adventure was the magnificent gardens, flowers and scent of herbs, carefully tended by the gardeners, for which special thanks to them. The highest level of service, sensitive to all our requests (and there were quite a few of them), created us comfort and coziness as in our mother’s home. I thank the villa staff for this sensitivity.
Incredibly delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners, accompanied either by a light show or the magic 1000 candles, were always served differently according to the theme of the location and took us to different pages of this fairytale. A real pleasure was the master class on preparing Tajine under the guidance of the villa’s chef, I especially thank the chef and all the kitchen staff for this.
The most delicious impression of course, all the art sculptures – this is what gave a complete feeling of some kind of modern magic. Heartfelt gratitude to the artist, creator and owner of this fairytale, Jean-François Fourtou, for such an impressive 3 days in the life of my family, which I was inspired by and will remember with love and awe all my life.”

“When one thinks of Shangri La, it is a magical place like Villa Dar El Sadaka that truly embodies it. Frankly, this is not an experience that can be described in words. Located 25 minutes outside the centre or Marrakech this oasis of art, hospitality, and local foods, much of which is grown in the property garden, is a paradise in Morocco. Anyone who calls it a “scam” is simply ignorant and did not do their homework. This is not a hotel. It’s a private Villa for the discerning traveler.
We have a family of 13, and each of us had a fabulous suite with all the accoutrements. Each day we awoke to a table of homemade breakfast delicacies. After morning activities of walking the gardens, yoga, or just reading by the pool, we were served a delicious lunch of organic vegetables and proteins prepared by a highly skilled chef. We sat on a different breathtaking terrace every meal and were cared for by a staff that was sweet, precise and attentive. Nissrine, Hakim and Saida are the captains of this amazing staff.
It was our own private and magical villa where art was around every corner and where every wish was fulfilled. When you come in the winter be prepared for cool mornings and evenings. But there are fireplaces in every room, including the suites. If you love a travel experience unlike any other, especially with a larger group, this is a destination that will not disappoint!”

The villa is beautiful with every room unique, so much so that all the guests wanted to tour every room to see for themselves. We experienced different and unique events for lunch and dinner every day, all arranged seamlessly by the staff. The equipment of the villa is fabulous. The pool in particular is very big and can allow 10/12 people to enjoy being in the water at the same time with the marvellous garden around.

The property is quirky and sublime, the artistic nature with its larger than live animal sculptures warms the heart and awakes the senses. Each room is cozy and creative. The staff is next level. They are kind and humble. Whatever it is you need, they are there for you.
And the food and drinks… out of this world. The daily fresh yogurt and honey during the morning were some of my favorite bites. The dinner with the 10 million candles is heavenly. I’ve never experienced something so touching on a vacation. It felt personal, like each candle was full of love.
