Is it possible to visit Dar El Sadaka?
We do not offer visits of the property. However, it is possible to make a stop at Dar El Sadaka and discover our sculpture park with our exclusive partner Marrakech Insiders.

Can I book for a day at the pool?
We do not accept day reservations. Minimum stay is 3 nights.
Can I book only one room?
The villa at Dar El Sadaka is available only by exclusive reservation. Rooms cannot be booked individually.
How many people does the villa sleep?
The villa at Dar El Sadaka has 9 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 20 guests at one time.
If you need more space, an additional suite that can be rented out together with the villa at an extra cost of MAD 5,885 | EUR 550 per night. It is located in a riad just opposite the pool garden.
The Riad Suite used to be the private apartments of French visual artist Jean-François Fourtou, the owner of Dar El Sadaka. It has 2 bedrooms – one with a super-king-size bed, the other with a super-king-size bed that can be made into twins – a large shared bathroom with a bath, a separate WC and a separate outdoor shower. Also a dressing room, private patio and all amenities like in the guest rooms of the villa (WiFi, air conditioning, electronic safe, minibar, hair dryer, etc.).
With the villa and the Riad Suite together, the maximum lodging capacity at Dar El Sadaka is 24 guests depending on the composition of your group.
Do you accept children?
Your little ones are very welcome to Dar El Sadaka. Up to three baby beds and three high chairs are at your disposal at the villa, complimentary. However, kindly note that our swimming pool is not fenced and young children need to be looked after by in-house guests at all times. Baby-sitting services can be arranged on request (at additional charge).
Can I have day guests while I am staying at the villa?
You can invite day guests at Dar El Sadaka during your stay. However, kindly note that private functions with more than 30 people are strictly forbidden.
Do you accommodate weddings and private functions?

The villa can be reserved for stays of minimum 3 nights and it is possible to have private gatherings of up to 30 people during your stay.
What are your house rules?
Check-in time: 4:00pm. Checkout time: 11:00am. Early check-in and/or late checkout are available at no extra charge if our booking calendar permits.
Private functions with more than 30 people are strictly forbidden.
Pets are strictly forbidden and smoking inside the villa is strictly forbidden.
Fireworks are strictly forbidden.
The swimming pool is not fenced and young children need to be looked after by in-house guests at all times. Baby-sitting services can be arranged on request (at additional charge).
During your stay all meals are prepared by our house chef and her team with fresh produce of the highest quality (at additional charge). There are plenty of options available to ensure all tastes are catered for and all our menus can be adapted to special dietary requirements if needed (vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free). Kosher cuisine is also available on request. Access to our professional grade kitchen is for staff only. Guests are not allowed to cook by themselves or to hire their own chef.
Drinks are à la carte. If you bring your own wine or other alcoholic drinks for your stay, you will be charged a corkage fee (MAD 90 per bottle for wine, and MAD 165 per bottle for champagne and spirits).
Special orders for alcoholic beverages and store-bought snacks through local vendors can be arranged by our guest services team on request (at additional charge, depending on the order specifics).
Dar El Sadaka is a full staffed and fully serviced private villa. Our guest services team provides support for stay planning prior to your arrival and during your stay. We offer a wide range of experiences and each stay is personalised according to our guests’ preferences and special requests. We may use carefully selected subcontractors to for the provision of some services but you cannot use outside suppliers or engage outside providers for on-site services during your stay.
The artwork decorating the villa interiors and exteriors, the animal sculptures in particular, cannot be moved or removed.
Product/brand placement and shooting with the artwork for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.
The villa, including the furniture and the other contents are to be treated with care. You are liable for all damaged goods, damage to the property or anything else related to the property, caused by yourself and the persons who are with you. Faults that are found during your reservation are to be reported to our Guest Experience Assistant immediately.
Dar El Sadaka sculpture park, including Jean-François Fourtou’s monumental art installations ‘Fallen From The Sky’ and ‘The Giant’s House’, is accessible during your stay but is not for exclusive use.
Access to the owner’s artist studio and private home is strictly forbidden.
All in-house guests must present their passport and complete the information forms required by the Moroccan authorities upon arrival.
Prostitution is strictly prohibited in Morocco and in case we suspect illegal behaviour, we reserve the right to refuse access to our property, to ask guests to leave or to take any other action we deem appropriate with no refund.
What are you booking and payment terms?
Advance booking is required minimum one week ahead.
A deposit payment of 40% of the total booking amount is required in order to confirm your reservation.
The remaining payment of 60% is due 45 days prior to your date of arrival. Failure to make the remaining payment on time will result in your reservation being automatically cancelled with no refund.
For bookings made less than 45 days prior to your date of arrival, full upfront payment is required in order to confirm your reservation.
Payments for bookings are to be made by bank wire transfer.
Additional services are to be paid for before checkout. On site we accept payments by cash and credit card (VISA, MasterCard and AMEX).
A security deposit of MAD 55,000 will be pre-approved on your credit card upon arrival. If there has been no damage to the property during your reservation, the security deposit will not be charged. However, if you are responsible for damages to the property, the repairs needed will be acknowledged with you upon check-out and, within 21 days after your departure, we will calculate the precise amount, on the basis of invoices, to be charged to your credit card.
Cheques are not accepted for security deposit and as a form of payment.
Because our guests’ wellbeing and peace of mind are our highest priorities, and in order to comply with the health and safety requirements of the government of Morocco to fight the spread of COVID-19, there may be some changes to our services as appropriate. By confirming your reservation, you accept that some services available during your stay may differ from those described on our website at the time of your booking.
Reservations are nominative and cannot be transferred to another person unless with the express agreement in writing of both the reservation holder and Dar El Sadaka.
What is your cancellation policy?
Dar El Sadaka does not offer cancellation insurance. There is no refund for no-shows and for cancellations.
A change to your stay dates is only possible if your booking has been paid in full and may be subject to additional charges. Any reservation change is subject to availability and to rate seasonality.
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to travel due to government enforced COVID-19 travel restrictions, you can change the dates of your stay, under the same conditions and at no extra charge, subject to availability.
The new dates for your stay must be confirmed within one month of your notification by email requesting the application of this COVID-19 cancellation policy; if not, your reservation will be automatically cancelled and you can choose to receive:
• a non-refundable credit for the total amount you have paid, valid for twelve months, to be applied towards a new reservation for a stay at any dates in the future subject to availability, or
• a refund of 50% of the total amount you have paid.
